5-Drawer Steel Flat File
Expertly engineered and precision built, Safco Steel Flat Files are guaranteed for 5 full years! This versatile file feature five 2" D drawers that easily hold up to 500 sheets per unit active filing; 750 for semi-active or 1000 sheets of inactive material. Constructed of heavy-gauge steel, each file features extra-strength drawer rails and side roller assembly with case hardened steel ball-bearing rollers to ensure proper alignment for years of smooth, effortless operation. Positive closure keeps drawers tightly shut when not in use and courtesy stops keep them from rolling while in an open position. Rear hood and hinged front depressor protect contents. Chrome label holders and handles add to the quality look and feel of this unit. Available in three cabinet sizes with two base options. The 6" Closed Base features front recess of 2 3/4" for toe space and holds up to 5 files. Our 20" High Base has enclosed back and sides with an open front for extra storage. A field-installable Lock Kit (2 keys included) is also available. All units feature museum/archival quality paint in Tropic Sand, Grey, Black.
